World Challenge fundraising support

Last year, Challengers raised on average a very impressive 80% of the cost of their expeditions!

World Challenge has a dedicated Fundraising Support Team to help individuals raise the money needed for their expedition. The team speak to challengers on a daily basis to find out what kind of things have worked for them and give them advice, support and fundraising ideas if they are struggling.

Each challenger is appointed a dedicated Fundraising Support Advisor who will be their point of contact through out the programme. Upon sign up individuals will receive a welcome call from their advisor, introducing themselves and discussing fundraising ideas to get the ball rolling.

Successful fundraising with World Challenge

Raising their own money towards a self-set target gives the Challengers valuable skills for life. It shows they can: Come up with great ideas and plans Work as a team Self motivate and achieve goals Manage money successfully and keep accurate records

Some fundraising ideas that have been successful for Challengers include:

• Sports tournaments
• Race and quiz nights
• Tuck shops, boot fairs and cake sales
• Selling school leaver t-shirts and hoodies
• Recycling clothes see bag 2 the future and old mobile phones
• Bag packing at supermarkets
