With World Challenge, education is at the heart of school travel. Our school travel expeditions are exciting, adventurous and packed full of fun but at the same time they focus very specifically on personal development. Students on our school travel programmes come back with self-confidence, leadership skills, and new abilities that are impossible to teach within the boundaries of a classroom.

School travel options

There are many different options for school travel open to your school team. These depend on ability and on what you would like your students to get out of their experience.

Physically fit teams may want to consider school travel that includes some demanding trekking; for example our Mt Kilimanjaro expedition in Tanzania. School teams who would like to focus on volunteer work and giving something back to the community may choose the Project Namibia expedition. There are also school travel options that suit particular subject areas, for example, school groups that are interested in Geology may want to consider a school travel expedition to Iceland.
